Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) current upon hire. Must obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days from hire. Must obtain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)/ENPC within 6 months of hire or transfer into position. Newly graduated nurses must have current BLS upon hire, must obtain ACLS and PALS/ENPC within 6 months from hire. New hires will have ninety (90) days from date of hire to obtain American Heart Association certifications. Notwithstanding this ‘grace period’ for obtaining American Heart Association certifications, employees are not excused from being current in any and all existing certifications that are required for their position as outlined in the position job description.Licenses: Current NM RN license or appropriate compact licensure.
